Frequently Asked Questions

Do all DemPrinting materials feature the union bug?

Yes, every single product we print is produced with 100% union labor. The union bug isn't just decoration to fill empty space on a yard sign. It proves your campaign actually backs up its labor rhetoric with real purchasing power. If requested, we will place the appropriate bug on your artwork clearly, correctly, and proudly.

What is your standard campaign printing turnaround time?

Our standard production turnaround is five to seven business days for our most popular campaign items. This window covers yard signs, palm cards, and general campaign literature. Nationwide shipping adds a few days, so please do not wait until the literal eve of your big rally to hit the order button.

Can you handle rush orders for tight campaign deadlines?

Yes, we can often accommodate rush orders depending on our current schedule and the product. Look, we know political deadlines do not budge. Election Day is not moving because a consultant forgot to approve a proof. If your timeline is realistic, we will pull off a minor miracle to make it happen. If it is mathematically impossible, we will tell you upfront instead of giving you excuses next week.

Do you offer full-service political direct mail?

Yes, we handle the entire direct mail process from start to finish. Direct mail logistics can turn a campaign staffer's hair gray overnight. You hand over the artwork and the mailing list, and we will handle the data cleaning, postal permits, printing, and mailing. You can go back to making fundraising calls while we deal with the post office.

Where is DemPrinting located, and where do you ship?

DemPrinting.com is powered by Gibson Print, located at 5659 S. Laburnum Ave, Richmond, VA 23231. Our heavy machinery lives in Virginia, but our products travel nationwide. We ship directly to campaign headquarters, union halls, remote field offices, or whatever random hotel your candidate is staying at next Thursday.

Can you split an order or ship blindly to clients?

Yes, we regularly handle split shipments and blind shipping requests. If your campaign footprint spans three states, we can slice your order up and ship it to multiple offices. If you are a political consultant or agency who wants to look like a printing wizard to your clients, we will blind-ship the order so our name never appears on the box.

What if my campaign artwork is not print-ready?

We accept press-ready files, but we can also work with rough concepts, logos, or hand-drawn sketches. You do not need to be a graphic design prodigy to order from us. We can provide templates for your design team, fix technical issues like bleeds, or handle the layout entirely if you are working with a blank canvas.
